The location couldn't be better, although the building shows its age. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The carpets could definitely use a deep cleaning and a few pieces of furniture are a bit worn and in need of repair. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in a cozy spot with a fantastic location, but there are some areas that could use improvement.

We arrived on a flight that landed around 1 PM, hoping to enjoy some lunch before our check-in at 4 PM. However, upon arrival at 4, we were informed that check-in would be delayed as the cleaning team was still working. After waiting until 5:49 PM without an update, we reached out again, but there was no reply. It wasn't until 7:02 PM that we checked in once more and were told they would keep us posted. Finally, we were let in around 7:45 PM, only to discover that there was an ongoing issue with a leak in the downstairs bathroom. Workers were continuously tiling the floor and making noise until about 9:30 PM. To add to the frustration, they left a used toilet and sink in the kitchen throughout our stay. Unfortunately, there was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. I inquired about a possible refund for the late check-in and other issues, but the host mentioned needing to consult with the owners, and I never received any follow-up. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn't consider renting from them again.

The location was fantastic and the neighborhood felt very secure, making it ideal for our family getaway. The pool area was lovely, but unfortunately, the heater wasn’t functioning, so it was a bit too chilly for swimming. Thankfully, we made good use of the hot tub, which was enjoyable! The guest studios near the pool are compact but great for those who value some seclusion. The property itself shows some age, so don’t be surprised by a few signs of wear. We did encounter some issues with the refrigerator and freezer; the freezer barely froze anything, leading to melted ice. The stairs can be tricky, and keep in mind that the main house only has one bedroom downstairs, which might not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges. There's no bathing facility on the ground level either. However, considering the price for the area, it was a reasonable option when shared among several families.
